Wrapping up 2011

I have left this blog dormant for the last couple of weeks. Many of you know, I relocated to the Unites States to help spring our business here in the new world. 

The move was shockingly smooth. There was a lot involved, and I still have a fair amount to do, but I was amazed how easy it was to find a place to live, open a bank account, get utilities set up. The truth is I could have done it all in a day, had I so wished. Or thought to do so. I am in the glorious south, in the beautiful city of Atlanta, where the sun shines supreme and everybody smiles and asks "How're you doin' today?". 

My post earlier in the month gave a quick rundown of some of our 2011 developments. We are all looking forward to a busy and thrilling 2012 as well. I would try to predict, but who knows what the future brings. We have a few ideas for the first months, but one of the strengths of Linex - if I may say so - is our ability to jump on opprtunities as they arise and adapt as we go. 

As I type this, in a Starbucks up the road from my apartment, a young man who works here has introduced himself to me, asked how I'm doin' today (of course) and struck up a brief conversation about my MBT shoes. I have watched the sun rise over the hills of Buckhead and I am more than ready to start another day!
